Easily manage images for your combinations

Introduction

Managing product images, and more specifically combinations, can quickly become a time-consuming and complex task on a PrestaShop store, especially when managing a large catalogue with numerous variations (sizes, colours, materials, etc.).

It is in this context that the Store Commander module proves to be a powerful and indispensable tool, as we will see in this article.

Associating images to combinations

To make it easier to associate images with your combinations, there is a dedicated grid in the Store Commander combinations panel.

To associate images with combinations, simply tick the relevant image(s):

You can, of course, select several combinations onto which you want to use the same image(s):

Adding images directely onto combinations

If the images are not yet present on the products, you can feed two birds with one seed by adding and associating the images with your combinations in a single step! Ready to save time?

Select the combinations , drag and drop the corresponding images into the image panel, and you're done!

💡Tip: identifying combinations associated to images

When you have numerous combinations and multiple images, it can be difficult to identify the image>combination associations.

But Store Commander makes this task very easy with just one click 😁
Simply click on an image, and the associated combinations will be automatically highlighted in the grid:

Importing images on combinations

It is possible to add and associate images with your combinations via a CSV file when importing with Store Commander, either when creating your combinations or simply to complete them by adding images to them.
